Board Member Scott Riley
A member of the Pueblo of Laguna (K'awaika) in New Mexico, Scott became TGPN's newest board member in December 2020. Scott has been involved in the tribal gaming industry for over a decade beginning his career working for the gaming operation at Sky City Casino in Acoma, NM. He eventually transitioned to the tribal gaming regulatory in 2013 and has worked for the Pueblo of Acoma, Pueblo of Nambé and the Pueblo of Santa Clara. Scott has experience in Compliance, Licensing, Investigations, Surveillance and is now serving as the Tribal Compliance Officer for the New Mexico Gaming Control Board.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Mexico Native American Studies program with a concentration on Leadership and Native Nation Building and has received previous degrees in Liberal Arts and Criminal Justice. Scott brings experience in organizing previous symposiums and conferences held in New Mexico. He is committed to supporting, strengthening and educating the purposes of Indian Gaming regulation and protection of assets for tribal communities. |
