Board Member George Jenkot
Vice-President of Security and Surveillance, Firekeepers Casino and Hotel located in Battle Creek, Michigan,  George is a gaming industry leader with a diverse range of skills in the fields of Security and Surveillance.   With over 26 years experience in both Native American and corporate casinos, George’s areas of expertise extend to Risk Management, Workers Comp, Transportation, plus the Entertainment Department, where he leads talent selection for a 2100 seat Event Center.  George is a cutting edge professional, through his role as an Instructor with the University of Nevada Reno, in contemporary areas of concern, such as Defensive Tactics, Building the Perfect Security Department, and Responsible Gaming. As a Board Certified Security Expert and a certified ALICE Instructor, George has been focused on solid Active Shooter preparation and response strategies for the industry. George has also been instrumental working with the Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force, bringing awareness and training to the Casino community.  In giving back to the community, George spent 6 years as an active board member and advocate for S.A.F.E. Place, a non-profit Battle Creek, Michigan organization dedicated to providing shelter and services to domestic violence victims, survivors and their families.

Our goal is to protect Tribal Entities by strengthening relationships and providing knowledge to those working in the Tribal Gaming industry.
