Chairwoman Frances Alvarez
Community member of San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians, Frances began her career in gaming regulation in 2001. Now Frances is the Vice President of Professional Services for Merydyan. Previously Frances was the Licensing Manager for the San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians Gaming Commission, there she was accountable for maintaining the utmost integrity for the background investigations and licensing process. Networking and educating are initiatives she is very passionate about. Frances provides awareness for the issues that veterans, young mothers and women in need of empowerment experience. She does this by ensuring those she represents, have a platform and voice through her when required. Using her voice and expertise, she has gained over her career and personal journey, a place as a respected speaker and board of director’s member for national tribal organizations. She is committed to giving back to tribal communities and supporting the individual and professional growth of women.
