Treasurer Alma Paz
Alma has over 15 years of accounting and financial/grants management experience, with a focus on Tribal Governments, including Grants financial management and administration. She has worked with 5 different California Tribes in the Controller and Director of Finance Capacity. Recently, Alma transitioned into the Tribal Gaming industry as well and has had the opportunity to manage the financial operations for two California Casinos.

In her role with REDW she provided contracted CFO/Controller services to clients, where she spearheaded direct relationships, managed accounting operations, and led budgeting initiatives. Alma’s tenure as a Senior at REDW, CPAs, has equipped her with a wealth of skills, including overseeing audit preparation, and facilitating collaborative relationships with clients and professional teams.

In her current role as the CFO of The Karuk Tribe, she is a key member of the Tribe's Management Team and is tasked with ensuring the financial integrity of the Tribal Government organization.​

Our goal is to protect Tribal Entities by strengthening relationships and providing knowledge to those working in the Tribal Gaming industry.
